"God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't take a special family, it makes a special family."

Say Cheese

The other day Tanner was playing with Daddy's american express card, and I couldn't quite figure out what he was doing until I watched this video again!  He is taking pictures, and saying "cheese" over and over!

He is for sure my little "Cheezer"

Phone

Tanner really loves cell phones!  He would play with mine or his Dad's all day if we would let him! Another thing that he really likes to do is call Dad at work.

Obsession

All I can say is that we watched parts of Cars at least every other day for about 2 months!  I think I've got the whole thing memorized!  Tanner is obsessed I tell you!

He was even trying to look like a car. I guess the blanket is supposed to be the hood?

No matter, he thought it was a great idea!

And then along came........

Buzz!  Ya, you guessed it!  Another obsession!  Some days the first thing I hear in the morning when Tanner wakes is "Buzz, Buzz, Woody, Buzz"

He laughs at all the funny parts and is really getting into humorous things!

But when its time to turn it off - Tanner is one unhappy guy!

Please Mom.... I want to watch it again!

So Big

I really can't get over how big Tanner is getting!  He looks so much like a boy (no baby) when he wears a hat!  He is wearing one of my hats!

Doesn't he look so big?

Hap Burday

Tanner loves the Happy Birthday song!  He has always liked it!  He has recently started singing it at least 2-3 times daily.  Little stinker won't ever look at the camera while singing it, but it's still so cute!

Tanner's Tryke

Today the Fed Ex man brought Tanner a new Tryke!  It is an Amtryke therapeutic tryke. It has hand cranks and straps on the pedals to hold Tanner's feet in place. Once he learns how, he will be able to ride a tryke!
I'm so excited for him!  Thanks to all those who donated the $ in order to get this for him!
It came unassembled, and took me about an hour to put together!

"Is this how you do it Mom?"

So far he loves it! On to bigger and better adventures!

Tanner says "Thank you!"
